| Today, 19 November 2021, the Political Head for the Waterberg Constituency, Desiree van der Walt MP, will attend the inaugural council meeting for the Modimolle-Mookgopong Municipality.
During the sitting, councillors will be sworn in and the new Mayor, Speaker and Whip will be elected. The Modimolle -Mookgopong together with Thabazimbi Local municipality are the only hung councils in Limpopo after the Local government elections on 1 November 2021.
