| Tomorrow, 18 September 2023 , DA Provincial Leader, Lindy Wilson, together with DA ward councillors, Sybrand De Beer and Lonika Booysen, will visit residents affected by the uncontrolled veld fire which caused devastation in Phalaborwa on Saturday.
The run-away fire started in a veld adjacent to the town, blazed towards Phalaborwa causing devastation in various streets where at 12 houses were burnt down and 34 houses damaged. The DA will donate water and essentials to the affected families.
