DA to march with community against poor service delivery in Bela Bela

On Friday, 3 June 2022, the DA Political Head for Bela Bela, Desiree van der Walt MP, accompanied by DA councillors and community stakeholders, will march to the municipal offices of Bela Bela Municipality to hand over a petition to Mayor Gloria Seleka (protesting) must in protest of poor service delivery and the daily electricity outages.

All 9 wards of Bela Bela are plagued by daily electricity outages which are affecting the water supply, businesses, farming activities and daily activities of citizens alike.

With the high cost of living residents must have to endure, they can ill afford daily electrical outages which impacts on their livelihoods.

Handover of the petition will take place at the main entrance of the Municipality in Chris Hani Street
