DA to host media briefing on Service Delivery Petitions

The Democratic Alliance (DA) will host a media briefing on Monday, 12 May  2025, to outline the proceedings following service delivery petitions in Bela Bela, Modimolle-Mookgopong and Thabazimbi.

More than 10 000 disgruntled residents in these towns signed the DA’s petition over the last 3 months with the purpose to improve services and stringent accountability to rate payers.

The DA will follow due process to ensure that the right of the public to petition the government is respected and to ensure a timely and meaningful response that will improve the lives of residents.
