The Democratic Alliance (DA) Federal Leader, Geordin Hill-Lewis, will on Tuesday, 9 June 2026, pay a courtesy visit to His Majesty King Misuzulu kaZwelithini.
The visit reflects the DA’s respect for the institution of traditional leadership and its enduring role in the lives and heritage of millions of South Africans.
This engagement forms part of the DA’s broader commitment to building a party — and ultimately a government — that respects and embraces all South Africans, regardless of language, culture, heritage, or background.
Hill-Lewis will be joined by DA Federal Chairperson Solly Msimanga, DA KZN Leader Sithembiso Ngema, DA KZN Chairperson and Public Works and Infrastructure Minister Dean Macpherson, DA KZN Deputy Provincial Leader and MEC for Public Works and Infrastructure Martin Meyer, DA Federal Council Subcommittee Chairperson on Traditional Leadership Thami Mabhena and members of the DA KZN Provincial Management Committee.
